About Us

The Fallen Angels Club was established in 2004, by sole promoter Kevin Morris.

Grammy winner Tim O’Brien, Austin music legend Alejandro Escovedo, The Handsome Family, Darrell Scott, Gretchen Peters, Dave Alvin, , Sam Baker and Eliza Gilkyson have all passed through the doors of The Fallen Angels Club.

We have worked some of the best Scottish acts, Jill Jackson, Roddy Hart, Rachel Sermanni, Adam Holmes, plus Scottish Folk favorites LAU and Drever-McCusker-Woomble

Venues all over Glasgow are always eager to work with the Fallen Angels Club, and as a result we have built up very strong relationships with various venues over the years, including The CCA, Saint Lukes, The Glad Café, The Art School, Cottiers, Websters, The Rum Shack and Oran Mor.

2018 saw two time Grammy nominee Beth Nielsen Chapman appear in The City Halls, this to date is our biggest ever show in Glasgow.

In 2007, after the sudden death of Billy Kelly, founder of The Big Big Country festival, The Fallen Angels Club launched the Glasgow Americana festival: www.glasgowamericana.com.

Glasgow Americana has grown year on year – the Hall Of Fame reads like a Who’s Who of the best Americana music around: Sturgill Simpson, Steve Forbert, Tom Russell, Bruce Cockburn, Slaid Cleaves Jason & The Scorchers, the legendary Kinky Friedman, Mary Gauthier, The Wailin’ Jennys, Sam Baker, Crooked Still, Robbie Fulks, The Hotclub Of Cowtown, The Handsome Family, Tift Merritt, and the late great Jimmy LaFave have all played the festival.

2024 sees a very special year when we celebrate our 20th Anniversary
